Jesus Christ, The Only Way To Heaven
Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God is the only way to heaven, not religion, not by being a good person, not by joining some church, or getting baptized etc. The Lord Jesus Christ told a devoutly religious man Nicodemus that he had to be born again in order to see the kingdom of God as recorded in John chapter 3, and He would say the same thing to any religious person today, protestant, catholic and otherwise, and a person does not get born again by joining some church, or getting sprinkled with water etc. A person only gets born again when he or she realizes that he or she is a sinner headed for hell, and are willing to turn from their life of sin, in other words, repent, and sincerely calls on the Lord Jesus to forgive them and save them, and put all their hope and trust in him. There are multitudes of good, decent, religious, church going people in hell right now, and multitudes more are going there, because they have religion, but they don't have Jesus, and believe me, there is a difference.
The Lord Jesus Christ said as recorded in John chapter 14 verse 6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Jesus did not say that He was one of the ways or part of the way, but THE WAY. Saint Peter whom the Lord used to preach the first message at the day of Pentecost said as recorded in Acts chapter 4 verse 12, "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." That name of course is Jesus. Saint Paul whom the Lord used to write almost half of the New Testament said as recorded in 1 Corinthians 3:11, "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Christ Jesus." In other words, it is Jesus or hell. Call on Jesus today to save you if you are not saved, and trust in him for the salvation of your soul, and not your religion or your church membership, or good works. Remember this also, the bible says, in Titus 3:5,6 "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Lord." Also remember this as well, it says in the bible that we are saved by grace through faith {faith in Jesus Christ} and not of ourselves, it is the gift of God, and NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast in Ephesians chapter 2 verses 8 and 9
Remember, not church membership, not water baptism, not good works, nothing like that can save a person except personal faith in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ who shed his precious blood on Calvary's cross. Call upon Jesus today, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." {Romans 10:13}, and trust in him only, he IS the ONLY way to heaven.
