The Resurrection of Jesus Christ
The resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is not just a fact of the bible, it is also an historical fact. There is no record of him ever dying again, and the reason why is because He never died again. Buddah and Mohammad,and Ghandi and various other religious leaders have all died and they never rose again. When Jesus said that He is the only way to God the Father, and that He was the only door, you can believe him, because he has credentials, He rose from the dead, and He said He's coming back, all these other religious people that I named can't help you get into heaven, they are powerless to save anybody. When a born again believer in Jesus Christ leaves this life, they are not dead, their physical bodys are just "sleeping" in the graves, but one day, those bodys will awaken and rise again, but in the mean time, the souls of the departed are with the Lord, so if you are a born again believer in Jesus Christ, you will not die, Jesus said in John 11:25,26, "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead {those that had passed on before} yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die..." {Those that were alive at the time of Jesus and those believers alive today}
You see, death for a christian is nothing more than seperation from death, death is the curse, and Christ conquered death with his resurrection, so when a believer dies, he or she doesn't really die, they are just seperated from death and are with the Lord, and at the resurrection, they will be united with their physical bodys that are sleeping in the graves. Jesus said, "If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death". {John 8:52} The resurrection of Jesus Christ is recorded in all 4 of the Gospels, Matt. chapter 28, Mark chapter 16, Luke chapter 24, John chapter 20.
If you don't know the Lord Jesus as your personal Saviour, when it comes time for you to leave this life, who are you going to turn to? Buddah can't go with you, Mohammad can't go with you, Ghandi can't go with you, the Dali Lama can't go with you, Krishna can't go with you, in fact, you'll be joining them in hell. Jesus is the only one who rose from the dead and He is the only one who can get you to heaven if you only put your hope and faith in him. In closing, I'll say this, since Jesus is the only one who rose from the dead, if He said that He's the only way to God, which He did, shouldn't you believe him?
