The Apostasy

 Before the Lord Jesus Christ returns, there will be a big falling away of biblical truth {Apostasy}. In 2 Tim.4:2-4, the apostle Paul warned Timothy about the coming apostasy, for he said, "Preach the word; instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn  away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables."

 I believe, in fact, it is obvious that we are living in the age of the apostasy right now. Many professing christians today do not want to hear the truth, they do not want to hear about the wrath of Almighty God, and hell fire, they don't want to hear about repentance, or about the fear of God, all they want to hear are "feel good sermons", like God's love and heaven etc. There are things that are done and said in  the name of Jesus in a lot of so called christian churches that have nothing to do with Jesus. I feel we are getting very near to the end, because Paul said that before the coming of the Lord to gather his true believers, there would be a falling away first {apostasy} in 2 Thess. 2:3. Paul also said, "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry {sounds like the catholic church}, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth." {1 Tim.4:1-3}

There are many lop sided, ear tickling  men and women behind pulpits today who tell their congregation all they want to hear, and mainly the "preachers" on tv. These big time tv ministers with their mega churches wouldn't dare talk about hell or repentance or about taking up a cross and denying yourselves, for fear of losing their congregation. We see people babbling in tongues and falling on the floor {slain in the Spirit} and laughing ,which they call "holy laughter", and all kinds of nonsense that is NOT scriptual and have NOTHING to do with the real Jesus Christ of the bible. Yes we are certainly living in the age of apostasy.

God Bless,

Christopher
