Heaven

When a born again bible believing christian passes from this life,he or she  go immediately to heaven to be with the Lord Jesus Christ. The Word of God mentions about being absent from the body and to be present with the Lord {2 Cor. 5:8} The Lord is in heaven, so when a born again believer passes from this life, he or she leaves his or her body at death and go to be with the Lord in heaven. Heaven is not a fictional place, it is a real place where the Lord Jesus Christ and all His holy angels are at right now. According to the testamony of Jesus, heaven has  mansions in it, for He said as recorded in John 14:1-3,  "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God. believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." Heaven which is God's kingdom, is where all the Old Testament saints, and the New Testament saints are at right now, and also where all the saints that have passed from this life since then are at. Heaven is a spiritual place where only the souls of saints are at. One day when the Lord comes back to this earth to set up His kingdom, heaven will be here, it will be heaven on earth, a new earth.

No one knows exactly where heaven is at right now, but the bible mentions something about it being in the "sides of the north" in Isaiah 14:13, and in  Ezekiel chapter 1, it speaks of the word of the Lord coming unto Ezekiel, and Ezekiel mentions about seeing a whirlwind coming out of the north in verse 4. Some people have a wrong idea of what heaven is like, they imagine people dying and going to heaven and floating on a cloud and playing a harp, and that is not so. I know there is a throne in heaven with the Lord Jesus sitting on that throne at the right hand of His Father, and there is constant praising to God. John said as recorded in the book of Revelation chapter 4 about seeing a throne in heaven in verse 2, and verse 5 John talks about seeing lightenings and thunderings out of the throne, and in verse 6 John said about there being a sea of glass like unto crystal before the throne, and in verse 8, John said he saw 4 beasts  that were saying "Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty. We have an idea of what heaven is like by the testimony of John and the Lord Jesus, and the fact that it is a spiritual place.

God Bless,

Christopher
