The Attack on the King James Bible
There are a mutitude of Bible Versions out there, and I believe with all my heart that every one of them other than the King James Bible, are nothing more than perversions. I don't know about christians in other parts of the world, but many christians here in the United States are deceived into believing that any and all versions are ok. The New International Version {NIV} omits over 64000 words, and 17 whole verses are omitted. There are omissions and changes in all the modern versions, the NIV, RSV,NRSV,ASV,NASV,NKJV etc. These modern versions come from different source documents than the King James bible, they come from different "original" manuscripts. The lie of the devil is that the reason why the verses that are in the KJV are not in the other versions, is because someone added those verses to the KJV, and they were not in the original manuscripts. The manuscripts from which we got our KJV, was translated out of the majority Greek and Hebrew manuscripts by 54 holy men of God, who were linguistic scholars of their day, while all the modern versions were translated by unholy men who lived fleshy lives.
Another lie of the devil is that the modern versions are easier to understand, even by non christians unlike the King James version, Well, the word of God says, "But the natural man {unsaved man} receiveth not the things of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." {1 Corinthians 2:14} God's word is supernatural and can not be understood by an unsaved person, they might understand it intellecturally, but remember, the word of God is supernatural, and is not to be understood intellecturally, so when someone says, "The NIV is easier to understand by anybody, and the KJV isn't", don't believe it, because if a person is not born again, he or she doesn't care about it and does not understand it. The KJV is the only true holy bible, and only born again people can understand God's word, When a natural {unsaved} person gets born again, he or she has a desire for the word of God, and they receive it and can understand it better, so when some one says that the modern versions are easier to understand by anybody, be leery about that.
The modern versions are watered down version of what God said, things are left out, verses are reworded, and makes you wonder if they mean the same as they do in the KJV, and they are open too much to men's opinion. If the KJV is the word of God, then the NIV is not, and if the NIV is the word of God, the KJV is not, they are that different. The KJV has been proven trustworthy for nearly 400 years, and the manuscripts from which we got the KJV ,has been around for over 1000 years. The KJV has brought more people to Christ, it has brought more genuine revivals. Great preachers from the 1700's and 1800's and early 1900's such as Jonathan Edwards, Charles Hadden Spurgeon, Charles Finney, R.A. Torrey, Billy Sunday, D.L.Moody, Lester Roloff and many others all preached from the KJV. Before the modern versions came out, you mean to tell me that these great bible preachers didn't have a reliable bible, and that no preacher did until these other versions came out? God said that He would preserve his word from "generation for ever" {Psalm 12:7} and that was written a few thousand years ago. The KJV is that preserved word of God in the english language. Satan knows he can't get rid of God's word, so he will do the next best thing, and that is to put it in the hearts and minds of men to come up with other versions which are nothing more than perversions.
Satan has been attacking God's word ever since Genesis chapter 3 when he said to Eve, "Yea, hath God said.....? {verse 1} trying to put doubt in her mind, and in verse 4, he told Eve that she would not surely die if she ate off the tree, when God said that she would die {spiritual death}. Are professing christians that ignorant that they do not suspect satanic deceptions with these other versions? Going away from the KJV bible for the modern perversions is one of the main things that is wrong with today's christianity. People say the KJV is too archaic, well, God is archaic, holiness is archaic. The Church needs to get back to the old fashioned thus saith the Lord KJV, we need to get back to the "old path,where is the good way, and walk therein" {Jeremiah 6:16}.
