I firmly believe that most of the world's population is going to hell, not by the will of God, because He is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance as it says in 2 Peter 3:9, BUT I truly believe most people will end up in hell, and the reason why I believe that is because of what scriptures say. As I understand, archeologists estimate that there were approximately two hundred fifty million people living on planet earth at the time of Noah, but how many were on the ark? Only 8 people, Noah, his wife, their 3 sons and their wives, only 8 out of two hundred fifty million, and the Lord Jesus said that before He returns, it would be like it was in Noah's day.
Now, what was the main sin in Noah's day? According to what the Lord Jesus said as recorded in Matthew chapter 24 verses 37-39, He said, "But as the days of No'-e were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that No'-e entered the ark. And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."
Do you see the sin there? It is not a sin to eat and drink and marry etc., but the sin was they were too busy doing those things, in other words, they were too busy living life that they forgot about the one that gave them life, and scripture tells us that before God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, the people there were planting and building, and of course they were eating and drinking and marrying and giving in marriage. They were too busy living their lives and forgot about God, and isn't it the way it is today? Look at all the restaurants in America, people are eating and drinking, look at all the marriages, look at all the planting of crops and the buildings and houses made, while there is very little regard for God today.
Another scripture that convinces me that most people are going to hell is the fact that the Lord Jesus even questioned if He would even find faith on the earth when He returns {Luke 18:8} The faith that He was talking about was THE faith that "was once delivered unto the saints" {Jude 3}. The apostle Peter made reference to the days of Noah, when he said, "...when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few,that is eight souls were saved by water." {1 Peter 3:20} Isn't eight a very few out of two hundred fifty million? There are approximately 6.5 billion people on the earth today, I wonder how much a few is out of that, a few thousand? not very many out of 6.5 billion.
Another scripture that convinces me of why I believe what I believe is, the Lord Jesus said in Matt. 7:14, "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." There is that word "few" again. You see, the lie of the devil is, all roads lead to heaven, and that is the wide gate and the broad way that leads to destruction as the Lord Jesus said in verse 13 of Matt. chapter 7. We have a counterfeit christianity today, and most people who claim to be christian are involved in that, and only a few know the right way {strait and narrow}. Because of what the Lord Jesus said and of what Peter said in the scriptures I used in this message, that is the reason why I believe that most people are going to hell, only a few are going to make it to heaven, and you who are reading this message, and myself as well better make sure we are part of that few.
