Israel And The Church- Are There Two Elects?

Israel and the Church, are there two "elects"?  The answer is no. Israel and the Church are two groups that make up only one elect. In the Old Testament, only the nation of Israel made up the elect, but Israel rejected Jesus as their Messiah and were thus  cut off, they are the "natural branches" as mentioned in the New Testament in Romans 11:21,which God is able to graff them in again, which he will. The "elect" in the New Testament refer to the nation of Israel who still have to be born again, and they will once the blindness is lifted, and they will be graffted in again, and the second group that make up the elect in the New Testament is the born again Gentiles.

The true Church of God, or true "Israel of God" are all born again people, every single person who comes to Jesus Christ by faith, for it says in Galatians 3:26, "For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus." It says in Galatians 3:28, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye all are one in Christ Jesus."  When the "natural branches" {Israel} were cut off, and the Gentiles graffed in, the promises that were made to Abraham and his seed were made to the Gentiles as well, for it says in verse 29 of Gal.chapter 3 "And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."  Since the blessings of Abraham also come to the Gentiles through Jesus Christ {Gal.3:14}, the Gentiles become part of the elect, so when you see the word "elect" in the New Testament, you know that it refers to all born again people. In closing this message, I say that there aren't two elects, but rather there are two groups that make up only one elect, which is the true Church of God,or as it is also called the true "Israel of God"  through faith in Jesus Christ.

God Bless,

Christopher
